A student who is a victim or immediate family member of the victim of a violent crime, or of sexual harassment with contact, on school grounds shall be permitted to transfer to another school in the district. Administrators shall inform the victim of this option within 14 days of finding the student to be a victim of a violent crime. Violent crimes include either a misdemeanor or a felony in any of the following crimes:

Negligent homicide
Manslaughter
Second degree murder
First degree murder
Endangerment (with deadly weapon of dangerous instrument)
Assault with physical injury
Aggravated assault
Unlawfully administering intoxicating liquors, narcotic drug or dangerous drug (with physical Injury)
Drive-by shooting
Kidnapping
Sexual assault
Arson of an occupied structure
Robbery
Aggravated robbery
Armed robbery
Disorderly conduct (involving a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument)
Misconduct involving weapons
Depositing explosives
Misconduct involving simulated explosive devices
Adding poison or other harmful substance to food, drink or medicine
