Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the general public that the Governing Board of Tucson Unified School District No. One will, on the following dates, hold executive meetings closed to the public at 4:30 p.m. and regular/special meetings open to the public at 5:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted by the written direction of the Board President, consistent with the statutory requirement for a monthly meeting.
Meetings will be held at the Duffy Community Center, 5145 E. 5th Street or at the Morrow Education Center, 1010 E. Tenth Street, Tucson, Arizona, unless otherwise posted. **Special Executive Session meetings will be held at 5:00 p.m. via zoom.
Information concerning the Board's agenda for meetings may be obtained by calling 520-225-6070 or on the TUSD Board website: http://govboard.tusd1.org.
One or more Governing Board members will/may participate by telephonic or video communications.
The TUSD Governing Board is committed to providing equal access to its meetings. Please note that all Governing Board meetings are streamed live on YouTube with real-time captioning. To request a disability-related accommodation to participate in the meeting, contact the Governing Board Office at 520-225-6070 or [email protected]. To ensure availability, please submit requests no later than four days before the meeting date. Requests made after this deadline will be accommodated to the extent feasible.
If authorized by a majority vote of the members of theGoverning Board , any matter on the open meeting agenda may be discussed in executive session for the purpose of obtaining legal advice thereon, pursuant to A.R.S. 38‑431.03 (A)(3). The executive session will be held immediately after the vote and will not be open to the public.
The order of items on this agenda may be modified during the meeting at the discretion of the Board President or upon a motion to amend the
order of business which is approved by the Board.
