The District shall provide professional development and in-service training programs for certificated employees that will focus on effective curriculum delivery that is congruent with the district long range plan and annual goal priorities.

The District shall also provide in-service training programs and professional learning communities to support the efficient and effective performance of certified and classified employees.

All professional development programs shall be evaluated to measure the program's effectiveness. As it relates to professional development for certificated staff, these assessments shall measure the impact of the program on student achievement using both formative and summative measures.
