Salaries for Charter School employees will be differentiated in relationship to duties and responsibilities.
The Superintendent will provide recommendations on salaries and fringe benefits to the Board.
The Board at any time may establish, within the budgetary constraints of the District, the salaries and benefits for Charter School employees necessary for the succeeding year.
Subject to the terms of Charter School employment contracts, the Governing Board at any time may reduce salaries or eliminate certificated teachers in order to effectuate economies in the operation of the District Charter Schools or to improve the efficient conduct and administration of the District Charter Schools. Notice of a general salary reduction at District Charter Schools shall be given each certificated teacher affected. These provisions do not apply to salary reductions from classroom site fund money.
This policy is only effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.
